Today I drove behind someone with this bumper sticker:
Not only is the dog smarter than my kid, the dog is her copilot. And we should all be the person our dog thinks we are. Guess she was a dog person.
Our dog is a fantastic companion but he won’t be outsmarting the honor student any time now. If the contest is who can find the softest cushion on the couch or who can ask to go out the most times per day, he’s your winner. He’s not stupid, just average. I’m ok with that. He’s got a great personality and he’s loyal. He’s smart when he needs to be like getting food out of a backpack or working with the squirrels to get peanuts. Since we got him as a family companion, the emphasis wasn’t on brains but personality.
Kathryn saw a car with those little people on the back window. You know – the ones that represent the family. There were two people and 10 cats. That’s a bit excessive. I’ve seen them with pets with angel wings. That’s a bit odd. But, let’s face it, we are all crazy about our pets.
With a face like this, does he need brains?
Surprisingly (not), I couldn’t find any songs on my IPod about a dog but I did find the Three Dog Night. Does sound like he’s sort of howling at one point though.
